Sergio Argüelles González
President and CEO of FINSA since 2001, guiding its growth and transformation of the company from a family business to a major international real estate developer. As part of FINSA's transition into market leadership, Argüelles established strategic alliances with global institutional financial players such as AIG, GE, and Walton Street Capital that have secured FINSA's continued expansion, growth, and access to international capital markets.
He led industry pioneering efforts that transformed Mexico's automotive and industrial real estate markets by developing Volkswagen's first dedicated supplier park in Puebla. Leading FINSA to be the market leader in the development of manufacturing clusters throughout Mexico.
Argüelles is active in several industry organizations such as AMPIP - Asociación Mexicana de Parques Industriales (ex vice president), CANACINTRA, AMCHAM, ADI, CAMEXA. He is president of the regional council of BANCOMER-BBVA, and participates as a member of the council of COPARMEX, AMERICAN CHAMBER and in NAFIN (Nacional Financiera), as well as a member of the council in the FINSA Foundation and in the University of Monterrey - UDEM.
